What causes micropores & hairline cracks?
|
casting, machining, welding, wear & tear, metallizing (metalspray)
conventional methods to seal micropores & hairline cracks require…
high investment in machinery, trained personnel, working time, space and energy consumption, waste disposal, in several time consuming working steps.
|

|
|

|
dichtol Impregnation Methods, however, are uncomplicated…
Simply… ...brush, fill, spray, dip or inject and after that? Sit back and relax!
No *investment, *local restriction,*special knowledge, *waste deposits, *energy consumption. |
|
dichtol benefits
Deep impregnation in place and on the spot, or large areas, without pressure, without vacuum, without temperature, for all metal alloys, ready for use (no mixing), colourless (no optical changes), cures fast (at room temperature),
resists nearly all chemicals, temperatures from -60°C to +500°C, pressures >350bar
| |
|
 |
dichtol is used everywhere...
single parts - impregnation small lots - impregnation large series - impregnation
welding seams, metal sprayed items,
dip, spray or brush |
|
The dichtol Capillary-Impregnation-Method...
is based on the principle of surface tension, wetting phenomena and fine tuned viscosities.
Thus, the dissolved fine polymers, partly combined with nano particles, can penetrate without vacuum and pressure deeply into porosities and hairline cracks. |

dichtol capillary test…
2 glass plates are clamped together and are put upright for 1 minute in a lid filled with dichtol.
dichtol penetrates on the basis of its excellent capillary activity (= super creeping properties) against the gravi-tational pull of the earth and rises approx. 55 mm within 1 minute.
(dichtol was coloured in black in this picture for easier detection.)
